Luminetik Studios started in New York City as a VFX and animation studio in 1999 including 4 Super Bowl commercials with Jason Giambi for Arm & Hammer. Luminetik realized the value of storytelling, shifting their focus from work for hire to creating original IP in animation and live action. The founders of Luminetik understood the ever evolving business in the entertainment industry so to stay ahead of the curve we built a single asset pipeline using game engines. The series, the film, the toy, and the video game come from a single source using Unreal Engine. It reduces cost and waste. It takes great storytelling with incredible visual art to create great IP. Lumientik has invested in developing stories and building social media awareness for these projects to build an audience. Storytelling starts with compelling characters, visual worlds, with events that helps the story evolve. We believe in taking risks. We tell stories for underrepresented audiences and taboo storylines. Story first, building a mythology, history, and a human experience. Please explore some of our stories here.
